Perfect for events who do not need longer than 1.5-2.5 hours for their event. We have hosted hundreds of bridal showers, ladies luncheons, birthday parties, baby showers and more with the Private Afternoon Tea Service!

Tuesday-Friday $900

Saturday-Sunday $1100

11:00am-12:30pm

1:00pm-2:30pm

3:00pm-4:30pm

 

This Includes For Up To 35 Guests:

Afternoon Tea Monthly Menu (8 food items, 3 Teas)

1.5 hr space rental

Full Service Staff for set up and clean up

Fully decorated venue: Fine China fitting chosen color pallet, Fresh Bud Vases

10 minute early entry for decor/set up

 

This Does NOT Include:

Tax or Gratuity

Guests counts over 35 ($30 per extra guest - Our space can accommodate up to 45)

Add-ons:

Extend Reservation time for 1 hr during the 11am and 3pm services for an additional $150

We have two service options for our Private Afternoon Tea!!

 

1st Option: A Traditional Afternoon Tea Service

This Includes:

-A Full 45 minute -1.5 hour sit down service of our Monthly Afternoon Tea Menu with each course of tea being served with its corresponding tier.

-Full Afternoon Tea Table setting of Teacup, Saucer, and Salad Plate

-Best for events that do not want to excessively mingle like church outings, ladies luncheons, and more reserved events.

 

2nd Option: Buffet Style

This Includes:

-Our Monthly Afternoon Tea Menu served on beautiful fine china platers and tiers in a self-service manner.

-Salad Plates located at the buffet.

-Table setting of Teacups and Saucers

-Hot Tea table service with choice of the 3 monthly teas

-Best for events that want a looser style event with lots of freedom for games, gifts, photos, speeches, etc. This works well with events such as Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Birthdays, Graduation Parties, etc.

2 / Menu

Your Private Tea comes with our set Monthly Menu for up to 35 guests. Each Month our Afternoon Tea Menu and Theme Changes. On the left is an example of a past menu! Click here to see our Current Menu. 

 

This Menu will always include:

3 Teas

3 savory bites

2 scones

3 sweets

 

If you are booking an event months in advance, we will not be able to tell you what will be served that month, However, we will have a tentative idea of the theme. Each new menu is released one week before that menu’s start date, through our social media and email marketing list. You are welcome to ask our event coordinator for information on the Monthly Theme!

 

We always have Gluten Free, Vegetarian, and Dairy Free option. If you are not happy with the food and drink included in your package, our event coordinator can let you know other options. 

3 / Decor etc.

WHAT WE DO PROVIDE:

Without any additional decor your party at Lanier House will still look amazing!

For all events with Appetizers or Afternoon Tea Food service, we provide the following:

-tea cups, saucers, salad plates, napkins, silverware, and fresh florals

DIY RULES

When bringing in your own decorations please be aware that there is limited space on our tables after place settings are placed.

We do not allow glitter or similarly tiny confetti in our space.

We do not allow any open outside food into our venue (this is due to our venue licenses). Prepackaged items such as cookies or candy is fine.

We do not allow our wall decor to be moved or handled. Nor do we allow ANY decor to be added to the indoor walls ie: Banners.

THINGS THAT WE LOVE TO SEE YOU BRING!!

-welcome signs (we will provide an easel free of charge if needed!)

-gift/goodie bags for guests (we can set up an empty table for these)

-fresh flowers (we always have fresh florals, but you are welcome to bring your own if there is a color theme you would rather have - just remember to keep the vases small due to limited space)

-build your own flower bars (these are always a fan favorite of guests!)

-small games (we do have mini pencils if you need them)

-Cakes (this is the one exception to our outside food policy, we can provide cake plates, and knifes if needed) We have an incredible Cake Baker on call who will deliver your cake to the tea room for you and set it up prior to your event! Our Event Director will give you her contact!

4 / The Fine Print

Contract

Once you have decided to move forward with booking, let your event coordinator know asap, and she will send you a custom contract.

Deposits

By submitting your deposit, you are confirming acceptance of all terms and conditions outlined in the contract. A deposit of $100 is required along with your contract to secure the date of your event. Reservations will only be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit and completion of the contract. Please note that deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable after 14 days prior to the event.

The deposit will be returned at the end of your event.

Payment

The outstanding balance for your event is required to be paid exactly two weeks prior to the event date. We accept various forms of payment, including cash, credit or debit card, and check. You may pay in person or over the phone. Please note that credit or debit card payments may be subject to an additional 3.5% processing fee.

Tuesday-Saturday: 3pm-8pm

Certain Sundays: 11am-8pm

Monday: Closed

This reservation is best for events that want a longer event. We've hosted rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, office parties and more! 

To book, fill out our Private Afternoon Tea Form, but let us know in the comment box what time frame you are looking for! Our event coordinator will let you know pricing and more information!
